Week of Learning 5/30

Whew! This week flew by! I was so busy teaching that I did not get many pictures. Sorry! 

We finished testing, PALS for reading and our math CPA! We are a smart bunch of kids! You can be so proud. If you would like to conference, please let me know. Otherwise all data/information will be sent home with the Report Card on the last day of school. 

We have had a lot of fun with our ABC countdown! Only 10 more days! EEK! 

Reading/Writing:

This is just a few!

We started a fun unit reading lots of pirate books and reviewing all the kinds of writing.

So far we  have created a pirate and labeled, wrote a list, and wrote a pattern sentence. 

Their pirates are ADORABLE!!!

Math:

We finished our 4th math CPA assessing all the skills taught this 9 weeks. We also played lots of review games combining addition and subtraction, but I was so busy playing I never picked up my camera! :( 

Unit Study:

We finished our unit on animal classifications and made these cool posters. It was so neat to hear the kids use words like 'classified' as they would talk about various animals.
