Week of Learning 10/12

Reading:

We finished our unit on Concepts of Print this week with Kindergarten books! 

Letter and Words:

Our letter this week was Ii and our words were in and is. 

Here are our Iguanas! They really need tails!!! ;) Oh well.

We point and read as we enter or exit the room.

We read our poems to practice rhyme and highlight our letter of the week.

Writing:

We have gotten really good at labeling our pictures so we have moved on to writing lists. We work on our drawing, labeling, and list making at Mrs. White's table during our reading rotations. 

 Unit Study:

We finished up our unit on the 5 Senses this week! So much fun for the kids! :)

 Math:

We continued learning about the numbers 6-10.

Finally, we made the numbers with our 10 frames.

5MTOW:

Have your kids air write the numerals in the air with their imaginary pencil. You can also practice writing the numerals on paper!
